The Organization of LSB Is Easy to Follow
| The ordering of resources in Lutheran Service Book has been slightly rearranged to provide for ease of use. Only one set of numbers will run throughout, thus eliminating the confusion of identical hymn and service page numbers. Following some initial resources, such as a table of contents, introduction, Church Year calendars, and lectionary readings, the numbering follows a simple plan: |

While this represents a departure from the organization of our previous hymnals, the numbering system is very intuitive and will assist both congregation members and visitors in their use of Lutheran Service Book.
